Friends Fornever

Have you ever had a fight with a friend? Friends after fights are like bananas, they need time to ripen before you can get back together. I recently just made up with a friend of mine. We had a fight over color duck tape!!! I was at her house and we were making duck tape pens and I wanted to use the blue but she wouldn't let me have it!
By then I was mad, I asked her, "why are you being so mean?"
And she said, "I'm not mean I just don't trust you with the pretty blue."
.............Ya, I know right, stupid. Well I thought about it that night as I wen to sleep and realized that we were fighting over duck tape!!!
So I went up to her and said, "we were fighting over something silly, do you want to come over today after school?"
And she said, "Sure, I was a bit silly myself."
And that was that. No more. See what a little apology can do? I think that no matter what you were fighting about you should be the first to step up to the plate and be the mature one!
'Cause the old saying is true, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone!!!"

Quote of the day: "A best friend is a sister that destiny forgot to give you!"

The New "Thing"

Hey Blogreaders! TOD here with a new topic for you today!

Trends. Fads. Very simple words yet as threatening as a gun. You have 2 choices when you here these words; you can ignore the new trend, after all you are your own person. Or you can chose to follow it. The choice depends obviously on the fad.
For example, say a girl in your grade decides to wear a bald cap to school one day, she gets her friends in on it too. So the next day you see them with no hair, do you:

A) Keep your ponytail in and your chin held high, at least you have some dignity.

B) Borrow your best friend's hat and hide your hair in it, it will have to do until you get home and rush your mom to the store!

I personally would chose A. As long as I have my friends by my side, nothing could go wrong. Some of you would chose B though....not to lose readers or anything but shame shame shame!!!

Another example could be if a new girl comes to your school all the way from Paris, France. Say she is wearing a beret in her hair, the Populars have taken her under their wing. They tell her that they just love her style and ask to borrow some berets for them to wear. She probably says yes because the next day, half the student body is walking around with the french hat on their head! Do you:

A) Not flinch when you see the idea of fashion at your school, just keep walking. After all, this is America, not Paris.

B) Announce loudly that you have one at home that you got on your trip to France this summer and didn't wear it because it was so dirty from all the use. Maybe your mom will spare some change to go get you one right after school!

That's A again for me. And just so you know, those of you who chose B,what you are doing is lying (scary music)!
If you are the kind of person who follows trends, don't let me change you! Your true blue friends probably like you just the way you are!
This is TOD signing out!!!
Adieu! (goodbye in the new girl's lingo!)
